Community Bible Study

Corsicana TX

Corsicana TX

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. We offer a morning class and an evening class, so pick the one that best fits your needs.  Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week you’ll participate in small group discussions either at Northside Baptist Church Wednesday mornings or at St. John's Episcopal Church Tuesday evenings and view a large group teaching.  We offer a caring, supportive community in which to study the Word of God and grow spiritually.

We invite you to join us no matter your denomination or background.

Currently Studying: Joshua, Ephesians, Colossians, Job

We will be studying the book of Psalms for the 2025-2026 class year!  The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.

MINISTRIES

Next Gen Ministry

We have a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities for Pre-school children up to age 5.  There is also now a place for your school age children from Kindergarten through 12th grade who will be studying the same scriptures as the attending parent with lessons designed to fit their age group.  We seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. Nursery care is also available.

Ethnos

If you’re learning to speak English as a second language, then this Ethnos group might be perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural.  It’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to people whose first language is not English.  In addition to an in-person Spanish speaking group, we offer an online Spanish speaking group as well.
